The subtle textures and distinctive colors of local Vermont slate are naturally beautiful and durable additions to home and garden.  

Brass Butterfly slate comes from the quarries in and around Poultney, Vermont.   Local slate viens produce green, gray, purple and even black slate.

Subtle variations in color and texture ensure that each piece is unique.  Slate is dishwasher safe and very dense, offering a natural deterrent to water absorption.
